Both the Kitty and Doggy special edition crackers this year along with the donation of $1.00 for each pet cracker sold were inspired by and in memory of my gentle and long-time companion, "Grendle" who passed away last year. For nearly 20 years, it was Grendle who always gave the 'one paw up' in inspection to each fresh batch of catnip I bought. We will dearly miss her doing this job for us and generally supervising all we do this year. NOTE: Out of respect for my furry pals during Christmas and Hanukkah, I do not include snappers in either dog or cat crackers. Our pets are often already quite excited about the holidays, visitors and lots of activity without the unexpected fright of a Christmas cracker snapper!
