Hi folks, It’s that time again.
The workshop is filling
up with paper hats, puzzles, ribbon and merriment
in preparation for the upcoming holidays this fall.
…”but
Gillian, Christmas is so far away!” you say?
Well,
YES, it IS early!
And, YES, it is very hot!
And, YES, it is really hard to think of Christmas while swimming, gardening,
firing up the barbie and hiking in the woods!
But we cracker elves have a lot of work to do preparing all the wonderful
bits and pieces
which will go into your Thanksgiving & Christmas crackers this year
and we need lots and lots and LOTS of time to get it all done.
And, there are only 5 weeks before we begin shipping out boxes for Halloween
and Canadian Thanksgiving! YIKES!
so
here’s what’s new for 2011
1.
We had several requests from our customers to make two new cracker types
and, they’re here!
The Musical
Handbells Crackers (see order notes below about the handbells)
& the Christmas
Charades Crackers.

And, many of you told us last season that you really appreciated the new
gift crackers we offered _
The Ornament Keepsake
Crackers and the 12
Days of Christmas.
So we thought up a line of new Gifted
Crackers - priced from moderate to luxury
for tea drinkers, chocolate lovers, and coffee brewers.

And although we know you love the full classic crackers at GC
we designed the new CrackerLITES
- a more modestly priced cracker -
excellent as stocking stuffers or to include in a box with other gifts
in lunch boxes close to Christmas or to give out at holiday choir parties,
office parties and holiday luncheons. Lightweight but packed with quality.

The “Waiting
for Christmas” booklets
were such a huge success last year
that we decided to expand our booklet collection to include
Halloween, Thanksgiving and Hanukkah too!
One free booklet per $35 or more order per delivery address.
Feel free to make copies for your family or this year we offer an option
to purchase additional ones.

and PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDER EARLY!
We want to begin mailing out boxes a couple of weeks earlier this year
so everyone has lots of time to enjoy their
“Waiting for Christmas” booklet activities. Please help us
accomplish this by ordering EARLY.
Remember
please place SEPARATE orders for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
It is OK to combine Hanukka, Christmas and Solstice as they fall generally
within the same period in 2011.

We are really pleased this year to offer our new Musical
Handbell Crackers.
Because every family’s musical knowledge and experience varies,
we realize that some of you may wish to have a more extensive range or
quality of bells available.
Some of you may prefer handbells which are held & rung like dinner
bells
while others will like desk bells which are left on the table while the
buttons are pushed to ring a single note.
And some of you would like the bells that have both qualities!
Well
we want to make everyone happy!!
But as you can appreciate, we are unable to keep all of these varieties
available in stock on our shelves.
